This folder contains AppleScript Applications that can be used with PageSpinner.
In Finder you can drop one or several text files on an application to search for, or replace text, in the files. To make these applications easy accessible you can make aliases of the applications and place these on your desktop.
Please note, since these applications are AppleScript application and each file needs to be opened by PageSpinner, they are very slow if you search in many files.
Drop & Find
This application will search for specific text in files or folders (and sub folders) dropped upon the application. When all files have been searched it will create a new window in PageSpinner with a search report in the form of a list of "editor:" links to files that contains the text you searched for.
The list of search results can be used for opening the files with an Internet Config savvy HTML editor, such as PageSpinner, specified in Internet Config 1.3 or later. Do this by commando-click on the "editor:" text of the file path in the result page. You can also select the full path to a file, including the "editor:" text, and use PageSpinner's Open Selection command available in the File menu.
Drop & Replace
This application will do a search and replace in all text files dropped upon the application.
Don't run this script on files with important data, and always keep a backup of important files.
